You do not need prior experience!
The book, the sew-along, and the kit were designed for non-quilters. If you've never quilted, this book will walk you through each step in creating your own patchwork quilt.
You'll go from knowing nothing to knowing everything you need to make an actual quilt!
Here's a downloadble list of supplies you'll need:
Week one of the sew-along will be all about getting your supplies together, so don't stress if you haven't got everything by June 2nd.
Absolutely not! This is only to make access to us easier and allow you to share your progress with other participants.
You'll learn each step of the quilt-making process:
- How to cut fabric accurately
- How to piece your quilt
- How to attach borders
In short, you'll learn how to become a quilter.
No! An expanded version of the Mary's Patchwork pattern is included in the book. We've written the book around making that exact quilt.
4 weeks! We begin June 2nd and wrap it up the week of June 23rd. Week one will be all about getting set up.
